1. 聞如是：一時，佛在舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園。
Thus have I heard:
One time, the Budha was staying at Anaathapindidas Ashrama in Jetavana of Shraavastii.
2. 爾時，世尊告諸比丘：「於此眾中，不見一法修行已、多修行已，成地獄、餓鬼、畜生行。若生人中，居家姦婬，無有淨行，為人所譏，常被誹謗。云何一法？所謂邪婬也。」
At that time, Bhagavaan said to the Bhikshus, “In this assembly, I do not see a single practice that, when cultivated and frequently practiced, leads to rebirth in hell, as a hungry ghost, or as an animal. If one is reborn as a human, they will engage in adultery at home, lack purity in conduct, be ridiculed by others, and constantly face slander. What is this practice? It is sexual misconduct.”
3. 佛告諸比丘：「若有人婬泆無度，好犯他妻，便墮地獄、餓鬼、畜生中。若生人中，閨門婬亂。是故，諸比丘！常當正意，莫興婬想，慎莫他婬。如是，諸比丘！當作是學。」
Bhagavaan said to the Bhikshus, “If someone indulges in sexual misconduct without restraint and frequently violates others’ spouses, they will fall into hell, become a hungry ghost, or be reborn as an animal. If they are reborn as a human, their household will be filled with sexual immorality.
Therefore, Bhikshus, you should always maintain proper thoughts, avoid giving rise to lustful thoughts, and be careful not to engage in sexual misconduct. Thus, Bhikshus, you should train yourselves in this way.”
4. 爾時，諸比丘聞佛所說，歡喜奉行。
When the bhikshus heard what the Budha said, they followed it with joy.
