- 闻如是：
一时，佛在舍卫国祇树给孤独园。
Thus I have heard:
One time, the Budha was staying at Anaathapindidas Ashrama in Jetavana of Shraavasti.
2. 尔时，世尊告诸比丘：「今日空中有随岚风，设复有飞鸟至彼者，若鸟、鹊、鸿、鹄值彼风者，头脑、羽翼各在一处。此间一比丘亦复如是。舍禁戒已，作白衣行，是时三衣、钵器、针筒六物之属各在一处，犹随岚之风吹杀彼鸟。是故，诸比丘！当修行梵行。如是，诸比丘！当作是学。」
Then the Bhagavaan addressed the bhikshus: “Today there is a violent storm wind in the sky. If birds—whether crows, magpies, geese, or swans—encounter that wind, their heads, brains, and wings will be scattered in different places.
Similarly, when a bhikshu abandons the precepts and returns to lay life, his three robes, alms bowl, needle case, and other requisites will be scattered apart, just like those birds torn apart by the storm wind.
Therefore, bhikshus, you should cultivate the noble life. Thus, bhikshus, should you train yourselves.”
3. 尔时，诸比丘闻佛所说，欢喜奉行。
When the bhikshus heard what the Budha said, they followed it with joy.
