Thus have I heard:

One time, the Budha was staying at Anaathapindidas Ashrama in Jetavana of Shraavastii.

At that time, Bhagavaan addressed the Bhikshus: If there is one person who appears in the world, then the path to liberation also appears in the world. The two truths, the three gates of liberation, the four noble truths, the five faculties, the cessation of the six wrong views, the seven factors of enlightenment, the noble eightfold path, the nine abodes of beings, the ten powers of the Tathaagata, and the eleven kinds of liberation through loving-kindness also appear in the world.

Who is this one person?

It is the Tathaagata, the Arhat, the Samyak-Sambudha. This is the one person who appears in the world, and with their appearance, the path to liberation also appears in the world.

Therefore, O Bhikshus, always revere the Tathaagata, and you should train yourselves in this way.

When the bhikshus heard what the Budha said, they followed it with joy.
